Spanish in Spain
22.05.2016 17:15
Third day in Ronda, part one - you see so much impressions that have to divide the day in parts already... haha... ;) But if seriously then as my host are totally busy with school things today because in the evening arrive a big group of students from Holand then I have this day totally for myself!! ;) And as now I have come to one small and very nice restaurant suggested by my hosts and have a free time till I get my food then I decided to use it wisely! ;) Also, have to add that there are many advantages of fair hair in this part of world... and one of them is that waiters do notice you as soon as you enter a place and take your order on the spot while Spanish people entering with me are still waiting when somebody will notice them... haha... ;)
So... today I have the last day before my active study program begins... so the last day of freedom! ;) Therefore... have to use it to the best to see the most of the town!! ;)
I started my morning not so good... cause perdon Sergio, pero no me gusta nada los churros... hahaha... Well I can not say that they are totally bad... but... they are definitelly not for breakfast and they are not my favourite food... and when my host family suggested them for breakfast saying that it's typical Spanish breakfast, I sort of remembered that we talk about them with you... and I thought yeah, why not... but... they are so fatty... brrr... haha... though coffe in that place was good!! ;) So I had my compensation!! ;)
After a heavy breakfast I went to explore the town... I already have my favoutite part of the town.. it's this place which looks like the end of the world... ;) totally awesome... the nature and all this view... you totally feel how tiny you are comparing to the big world... ;) Simply love the place!! :) And well as there is the third day of Ronda Romantica there are still dressed up people in the streets, music, fairs, shows and so on... so I wandered the streets and park where it is seen the most... watched some horse show, looked through the fair where artisans offer their goods... the prices of these things are like in Latvia... if it is handmade you should consider the price twice! ;) but of course it has totally different value cause it is handmade... ;)
You can see those awesome kerchieves hanging from balconies... they are there especially for the festival... and they wash streets... wouldn't it be great to do this also in streets of Riga?? ;)
So... my first part of the day was spent wandering the streets of new part of the town and looking at what it has to offer... ;) So.. after my lunch which I expect to be finally not deep fried and with fresh salad... I'll head to explore the old town... ;)
The second part of the day was spent eating... haha... first of all I discovered a wonderful place to eat... and finally had something just excellent!! ;) Fish fried in sweet cream with potatoes and olives!! ;) They are SO much better here than anywhere else!! ;) Mmm.. this is my favourite eating spot in Ronda so far!! ;)
And then we spent the evening welcoming a big group of students from Holand, my future classmates!! ;) And having pizza and nice chats cause it was one of my hosts birthday!! ;) So... a change of plan can also be awesome!! ;)
Well... and now I have to dash to sleep cause tomorrow I have to start my studies!! ;) Yeyy!!
Have a great day! ;) #spanishinspainBaltImage
