Spanish in Spain
30.05.2016 17:38
Buenas! :) Hola! :)
My second day in Malaga and the amazing things of today!! ;) The first what I can share with is that according to my phone and also blister on my foot today I have reached the total maximum and have walked 22.12 km!! ;) But I guess since I arrived to Spain every day is something like that... ;)
Today I activly did the things from Sergio must see list and I totally loved them!! :) So public thanx to my awesome tour guide for so many amazing pieces of advice on where to go, what to see, where to eat and so on!! ;)
So... the second best bit of today was my lunch.. I went to Pedregalejo area where as Sergio and my yesterday's tour guide Luis said are only family restaurants who are there for like 30 - 40 years and they all are traditional, local food not mass produced tourist food for crazy prices! ;) The food was totally deliciouse there... but... what I loved about the place was the atmosphere... the waiters in this place are 4 gentelmen in the age of about 50-60... and it is a real show to sit and observe how they serve tables, how they interact with each other and clients... it is totally amazing... cause what you see is not a typical polite act you see 4 dads who walk around and serve food to their guests... with coments, with little grumpiness to each other at times.... it is totally amazing place. And the name of it is also a master piece cause the fish and seefood restaurant is called El Cabra which is translated as a goat. But according to the menu the founder of the restaurant had such name.. so it has a very untypical name for seafood place. :)
Then after a proper Spanish siesta I went exploring the city further!! ;) And I went to a totally awesome place called the Castollo de Gabralfaro... the climb up there is just like one of the Alex hikes in Ronda, I totally remembered him... haha... but... the view from the top when you get there is totally worth every step!! :) And the birds, pine trees and all the nature... uff... just amazing!! ;)
And I finished this awesome day with a walk in the port area, the mall and the beach... amazing walk before a sweet, sweet dreams!! :)
