Hi! :) My name is Ivita and I am a manager and an English teacher here at BaltImage. Teaching is not just my work, it is my passion and my life. I love every single moment spent in the classroom teaching, communicating, exchanging views, thoughts and experiences... for me time spent with my students is the best time of the day! ;) And... I have already been supporting students in learning Latvian for three years. For me language is not just a communication tool - it can give some surprising conclusions about how we think. I love teaching - I enjoy planning, creating new methods and seeing the influence of learning. I like organising various projects and events, cycling and watching Netflix. Often an awkward Latvian introvert but super interested in long talks about the world. Enthusiastic about life and things I do.

I study English at the highest level at university. I made the decision to challenge myself and; thus, sent my CV to BaltImage. Now it’s already been over half a year of enjoying teaching process. In my leisure time I like playing basketball or relaxing in nature. ;)

I am a positive, creative and responsible teacher with a good sense of humour who has 19 years of experience, and I loooove my job. Teaching English is my hobby and my job. Teaching and English equals happiness for me, and I am blessed with amazing students who I can be truly proud of. Apart from teaching, I am also interested in knitting, crocheting, reading, Netflix and Nordic walking. To cut the long story short, I welcome everyone to enjoy the process of learning English as much as I enjoy teaching it.
